The November meeting will be the “Big Reveal” for Hands on Web Query participants to show their completed projects. The Web Query project kicked off at the October user group meeting started with meeting attendees seeing a review of the newest version of Web Query. Web Query recently has been greatly enhanced. Participants started the Hands-on activity starting with learning how to use Web Query and moving on to live projects submitted by 2 member organizations. The projects include dashboards with drill downs, mobile application and iPad application.
The Big Reveal will be a great way for participants to show off their new skills gained through the Hands-on Web Query activity and also a great way for members that didn’t participate in the hands activity to see what can be done using Web Query. You’ll be sure to gain insight into the learning process and what can be accomplished using Web Query.
The projects will be presented by Web Query participant teams and evaluated for use by the organizations that submitted the projects.
About the Presenter
Jackie Jansen is the IBM i Solutions Manager for Information Builders specializing in DB2 Web Query. Jackie spent 30 years with IBM working with small and medium enterprises. For the last 15 years she specialized in database and Business Intelligence in the IBM i / AS/400 marketplace. Jackie is an author and a frequent speaker at Technical Conferences and User Group meetings around the world.
