Presentation:

External Storage and IBM I

In this session we will dive into the benefits of external storage for IBM i and how IBM’s storage portfolio complements the demands of IBM i shops of all sizes. With Security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Data Growth continuing to be among the top concerns for IBM i shops, we look to external storage to enhance our most critical business servers. The increased adoption of virtualization, 24×7 operating requirements, and no room for downtime, external storage is growing in popularity for IBM i shops.

About the Presenter:

When introduced to the IBM i architecture in 2012 he found a technology that lives by lean principles.  Efficiency within the walls of the data center can and is driving competitive advantage across all industries. Richie operates everyday, as if it’s his duty to share knowledge and experiences with companies, so they can make an educated decision prior to purchasing that next x86 data center brick.
